HTFN California - How do you respond if a client's cargo is so sensitive it can't be opened, even when shipping internationally?

If you're HTFN, you work closely with your worldwide organization to make sure that the shipment arrives in perfect condition. This is what happened when Inovys Corporation, a Pleasanton California manufacturer of semiconductor testing equipment, needed a customized transportation solution.

They turned to HTFN California. Inovys wanted to ship one of their high-end, heat- and oxygen-sensitive testing machines to Canada but had very specific customs requirements: the box could not be opened due to the potential for contamination. With this in mind Inovys contacted HTFN to consult on how we could meet their specific demands.

In coordination with HTFN Canada, a special customs procedure was organized to keep the sensitive equipment in its original packaging for the duration of the journey. That meant vigilant service and documentation, which would allow the shipment to go without a physical inspection at the Canadian border.
